Customer Service Agent

Job Description:

Exhibits and offers a specialized and enjoyable customer service encounter. Records sales on allocated cash register, delivers clients respectful, just, friendly, and prompt payment assistance.

Roles and Duties:

• Initiates interactions with customers and patients, offering aid and product guidance while resolving any concerns or inquiries for a favorable customer interaction.
• Guides and encourages staff by exemplifying and spreading customer service best practices to create a remarkable and pleasurable experience for customers, encompassing personal interactions like greetings, eye contact, courtesy, and Walgreens service attributes such as providing proactive help, understanding customer needs, and servicing until customers are fully content.
• - Delivers customer service that is kind, affable, rapid, and proficient.
• Recommending products for sale to customers and suggesting trade-up options or related items.
• Utilizes the allotted cash register to document customer buys, manages cash transactions, and provides change when requested. Deals with voided transactions, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as necessary.
• Keeps counters and shelves tidy and neatly stocked, oversees inventory management, and records necessary information. Processes merchandise by tagging and pricing as specified by the store manager or instructed by the shift leader.
• Executes strategies for preserving company resources to mitigate potential revenue decreases.
• Ensures that all stipulations concerning regulated items like alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are complied with based on state and local laws.
• Handles the creation and upkeep of a variety of displays, including those for promotions, seasons, special structures, and items for sale. Executes resets and modifications as required.
• Supports in the segregation of food items by type and placement adherence to policies, such as ensuring raw and frozen meats are stored on lower shelves based on set guidelines.
• Shows proficiency in using store systems and equipment.
• Offers customer service in the photo area, involving digital passport photo services, creative poster printing, operating a creative machine, and recommending promotional photo merchandise.
• Takes on the role of handling web-based pickup tasks, monitoring orders processed in Picture Care Plus, completing orders by gathering items, and distributing orders to customers when they come to the store.
• Plays a role in maintaining the store's neat and orderly appearance by assisting with both interior and exterior upkeep.
• Abides by all corporate regulations and protocols; cultivates harmonious relationships with team members.
• Carries out specific projects and any other assigned responsibilities.

Training:

• Participates actively in training sessions and completes PPLs as instructed by the Manager or designated by the corporate entity.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English communication, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking, is crucial
• Willingness to accommodate a variable schedule, including weekends and evenings, is essential for this position
• Ideal candidates will have accrued six months of retail experience.
• Having prior experience working at Walgreens is advantageous for applicants.
• Yearn to be proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking, with the exclusion of Puerto Rico
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, is required for this role.
