Customer Support Associate

Job Description:

Displays and executes a unique and satisfying customer service encounter. Completes transactions via assigned cash register, serves clients with polite, equitable, amicable, and speedy cashier service.

Roles and Duties:

• Provides a welcoming atmosphere for customers and patients, offering assistance and guidance on available products and services to address any issues or queries effectively.
• Acts as a model and promoter in demonstrating and sharing optimal customer service methods with all team members to ensure a distinctive and delightful customer experience, incorporating interpersonal habits like greetings, eye contact, courtesy, and Walgreens service traits such as offering proactive help, identifying needs, and servicing until customer satisfaction is achieved.
• - Provides clients with service that is courteous, pleasant, prompt, and effective.
• Advising clients on suitable items for sale and suggesting complementary or enhanced merchandise.
• Records customer purchases through the assigned cash register, manages cash transactions, and gives out change upon request. Processes voided transactions, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as necessary.
• Responsible for ensuring cleanliness and well-organized presentation of counters and shelves, conducts inventory checks, and maintains records efficiently. Tags and prices merchandise following the store manager's guidelines or instructions from the shift leader.
• Enacts procedures to ensure the identification and mitigation of profit loss through asset protection.
• Ensures that compliance with state and local ordinances for controlled goods like alcohol and tobacco products is maintained.
• Undertakes the assembly and maintenance of displays, encompassing promotional materials, seasonal setups, large structures, and items for sale. Executes resets and changes as instructed.
• Provides support in organizing food items by separating them based on whether they are raw or pre-cooked and arranging them according to established rules, such as storing frozen meats in lower shelf positions.
• Exhibits competence with store systems and equipment.
• Provides support in the photo section, such as digital passport photo processing, creating posters with a creative machine, and recommending promotional photo items.
• Assumes the responsibility for managing online pickups, keeping track of orders in Picture Care Plus, preparing orders by selecting items, and distributing orders to customers upon their store arrival.
• Works towards maintaining the store's neat and orderly condition by supporting with exterior and interior maintenance tasks.
• Follows all organizational policies and procedures; upholds amicable connections with coworkers.
• Accomplishes specialized tasks and additional projects as requested.

Training:

• Participates in training modules and accomplishes PPLs as requested by the Manager or assigned by the corporate authorities.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English language skills, including reading, writing, and speaking, is mandatory
• Being open to working flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, is a requirement for the role
• Applicants should have a minimum of six months of retail experience.
• Previous job involvement at Walgreens is a plus for prospective employees.
• Hope to excel in English language fluency in reading, writing, and speaking, excluding Puerto Rico
• This position demands the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
